Veterinary Externship (College Credit).
Steele Equine’s Veterinary Externship provides veterinary students the opportunity to gain “real-world” experience in a practice dedicated to caring for equine patients while earning credit for their two week rotation.
An advanced, intensive, 2-week rotation for junior and senior veterinary students. Students come from across the country to experience first-hand the art and science of excellent equine veterinary medicine including diagnosing, treatment, and preventative medicine. In addition, the externship focuses on developing problem-solving ability; learning how to effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and community members; and the economic aspects of a thriving rural business.
Please email our office if you are interested in a Veterinary Externship with Dr. Liz Steele or for more information regarding the program.
