We are dedicated to ensuring your horse receives a swift, accurate diagnosis to optimize their health and performance. Steele Equine’s sports medicine department offers support to equine athletes with the latest therapeutic, diagnostic, and rehabilitation techniques from birth through adolescence, competition, injury, rehabilitation, and retirement.

Utilizing diagnostic tools such as digital radiology, digital ultrasound, endoscopy, digital thermography, fluoroscopy, as well as experienced observation, Steele Equine will identify a diagnosis for your equine athlete and create an individualized therapy plan to meet your horse’s specific injuries and/or performance needs.

We recommend evaluating competing athletes at least every 6 months—whether they’re performing poorly or already winning—in order to be proactive and pinpoint small areas of pain before they effect performance. Treatment may include intra-articular injections, physical therapy, training exercises, chiropractic practices, or even a change in tack to name a few.
